Are The Horndogs Now “The Base?”

It sometimes seems that way.

It’s pretty easy to throw this one pop culture moment out with the bathwater, because:

  • Kanye is generally considered somewhat crazy.
  • It does seem like this Bianca thing may be a Kim K revenge tour with a side of trafficking.
  • The Grammys are a mess of an awards show anyway.
  • They do this on Instagram too.
  • Apparently it cost him some Japanese show/contract, so I guess there was karma there.
  • He got people to talk about it, which I guess is the point, but as Kayne talking point things go, it seemed to be rather mild.

When this first crossed my particular social transom, the first thing I thought was: we know sex sells and we know sex has sold for generations upon generations. That part isn’t breaking news. However, does it sometimes feel like the only way to reach the young bucks these days is with stunts like this?

Bianca Censori, to me, is basically a cousin of the Lauren Sanchez concept. Most guys look at her not as a person, but as “body made for fucking.” She periodically calls Kayne “Christ” or “King” in posts, which is also an extension of the trad-wife concept coming back en vogue. (Ironically, Censori has a job title at Yeezy.)

I write about a lot of different topics, from work to masculinity to relationships and social dynamics, I.e. modern friendship. Pleasure to be here.
