What If The Irony Is That Tradwives Make The Worst Moms?

Written about “trad-wives” a few times now. That’s surprising to me but also not really. I think about a lot of stuff, and I’ve thought more and more about gender “roles” since infertility became a factor in my life, i.e. what is a man and all that. I guess trad-wives are an extension of that. Funnily enough, sometimes I say “trad” in conversation to describe this, and “trad” rhymes with “Chad,” which is probably the name of the husband in 12% of these situations. Trad and Chad. Nice.

If you don’t know what a “trad-wife” is, here:

“Trad” in this case means “traditional,” so you stay at home and “raise the kids + keep the house,” as opposed to any out-of-home job or whatever. This is within the lines and wheelhouse of what Harrison Butker got in trouble for a few months ago.
