Video: The Least-Acknowledged Challenge Of Divorce
Yesterday was the seventh anniversary of me getting divorced, or at least the relationship ending. I don’t pine for it at all, and it’s good that we ended when we did, all-in. But, I can tell you that first year or two was very tough socially as you realize that your friend circle is shrinking — to the point of, perhaps, 67% of those you were texting and calling the most at the time. I read a lot of stuff about divorce in those early days (and have to this point, actually), and one major gap in the research and discussion is about how you also divorce the friends. So, I went ahead and made a YouTube video about it. If you’re in this or have been in this and are struggling with it, maybe some of these five minutes and 17 or so seconds can help you.
