Todd Mullis Likely Did Do It

Although I cannot say I am sure about the “cheating whore” stuff.

If you’re a true crime person, you’re probably familiar with the Todd Mullis case out of Iowa in 2018. It’s been covered on most of the major shows. The essence of the situation is that Todd had a hog farm in Earlville, Iowa. He was married to a woman named Amy, and they had three kids. Amy had been a nurse, but about five years before all this happened, she had an affair. Todd ostensibly wanted to control her or keep his eye on her, so he told her to quit nursing and work on the farm, which she did. As you’d probably expect, she ended up feeling trapped, and had another affair in early 2018 — with the guy who managed the day-to-day of the pig farm for the Mullis’.

In November, she was found with corn rake stabs in her back — although the rake in question had four prongs, and she had six wounds, which means she’d somehow have to fall on a rake twice for it to be an accident. One of the centerpieces of this trial was their oldest kid, Trysten, who first said he was with his dad all day and then eventually said his dad was gone for a period of time, wherein he could have stabbed the mom with the corn rake.
