I am a firm believer that the “tiers” of adult friendship need to match for the friendship to be consistently successful —

— but I walked my dog this morning and some thoughts came to me, so I decided to make it into a quick post.

I wrote once before about my friend Redding, who I don’t seem to speak to anymore and who never contacts me, which does sadden me:

Let me set some parameters for this discourse, then:

  • We graduated from college in 2003.
  • We seemed to have stopped speaking in mid-to-late 2022.
  • So, that's about 19 years.

I write about a lot of different topics, from work to masculinity to relationships and social dynamics, I.e. modern friendship. Pleasure to be here.
