The Timberwolves Have Not Lost In These Playoffs Yet
Let me now Google some stuff in real-time to open with a story about the Timberwolves.
First: I lived in Minneapolis from July 2012 to July 2014. I got there in late July of ’12 and I left around the semifinals of the World Cup in ’14. I know that because I watched the finals of the 2014 World Cup at some bar in Oklahoma.
Well, I distinctly remember the night of January 5, 2013. (HA!) Why do I remember it? Well, I had been living in Minneapolis for about eight months. I am generally obsessed with random sports teams. I decided to “become a Timberwolves fan,” although they were not good at the time. I had bought tickets to a game that night for me and my ex-wife. It was snowy and icy on the ground.
My ex ends up getting sick, so I go to this game by myself. I know it was Jan. 5, 2013 because on the same night, the Packers and Vikings (Minny) were playing a wild-card NFL game.
