The Implacement Era
Implacement is a social science/academic term “used to describe the ways that a person comes to understand themselves (as citizens, as parents, as children, etc.) but also their place in the larger community. See: “my” coffee shop, “my” neighborhood, “my” bar….and, of course, “my house.”
