“The First Generation” As Opposed To “The Fourth Generation”

Does this explain everything?

I saw this on 4Chan the other day. I think it’s kinda useless to over-generalize about different generations, and even this example applies to a very small percentage of world-builders and owners, but this is interesting to go through. Is this where the generational schism between “the first” and “the fourth” really breaks? Worth asking, at least. And does it show that modern up-and-comers aren’t really that motivated? I actually just watched two completely different videos that might underscore that.

To wit:

Maybe we’re not good at keeping what was built in a thriving state, and we come to resent the system that benefited us?

It doesn’t apply to everything, but it’s interesting to at least discuss with people during the holidays.

I write about a lot of different topics, from work to masculinity to relationships and social dynamics, I.e. modern friendship. Pleasure to be here.
