The Culture War Is The Greatest Scam

When we were in the process of breaking up, my ex- told me once that “I want people to focus on the left hand when I am doing something with the right.” While I am sure that’s true and fully admit how flawed a person I can be (moreso then, too), I never fully understood that specific one. I’m pretty transparent with what I am thinking about. I’ve been writing this type of shit for 11 years now. Most people know where I stand on work, relationships, gender roles, all of it. I don’t know if I’m doing much distraction, but ya know, I probably am at some level. (Aren’t we all?)

I hadn’t thought of that specific comment in 7.75 years, but it occurred to me this morning when I watched this video:
