The Brian Cohee Jr. Case, Where A Teenager Beheaded A Homeless Man, Doesn’t Get Much Attention

As far as true crime goes, at least. But it might deserve more.

I personally am a fan of the YouTube channel “Explore With Us,” which is a true crime channel that does an excellent job with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and getting body-cam and interrogation videos before you see them anywhere else, I.e. on Dateline or 48 Hours. I’ve heard some people knock “Explore With Us” because they can be overly-dramatic, such as suddenly flashing HUGE RED TEXT about something in a case. It definitely caters to a more masculine, disengaged mind — even though ironically I think more women watch true crime.

I’ve found some cases on EWU that I’ve never heard of before, including yesterday, when they spent about 1 hour and 42 minutes on the case of Brian Cohee Jr. out of Grand Junction, Colorado:
