Alright, let’s get into this one.
Years ago, I had these friends through church. Nice people. Hung out with them a semi-decent amount.
I’m on probably Year IV of this fertility journey bullshit, with seemingly no end in sight to any of that. Good news is, I leaned into some DINK stuff and went on more vacations of late.
One interesting thing about this other couple was, they got pregnant and we went to a play with them — and she was obviously pregnant, and not drinking at the pre-play dinner, and they said nothing, and then two weeks later at a church small group, they were like “Oh hey guys, we have an announcement…”
Always thought that was weird, personally, but everyone handles that fertility announcement shit in their own way, I ‘spose.
