So What Happened With That “Red Wave?”

A funny thing happened on the way to the forum.

Results-wise, here’s what you got in the big name races:

  • Vance won (red)
  • Abbott won (red)
  • Fetterman won (blue)
  • Kemp won (red)
  • Shapiro won over a major election denier (blue)
  • Finchem, another major election denier, lost in Arizona (blue)
  • Boebert is currently losing but projected to win (red, but oddly)
  • Kari Lake is losing and it’s too close to call
  • Warnock vs. Walker is too close to call
  • 200+ 2020 election skeptics have won races (red)

As Time Magazine, which I did not know was still relevant or had a digital presence at all, said: “Red wave is more like a pink splash.” Politico called it “the red wave that wasn’t.”

Even some late-night, tie-off-the-collar dudes on Fox News admitted this was bad for the Republicans:

“We have the worst inflation in four decades, the worst collapse in real wages in 40 years, the worst crime wave since the 1990s, the worst border crisis in U.S…
