Ring Sizes And Finger Banging

Spilling the tea in conservative female circles (it’s all for show, of course).

I used a generic image for this post to make a point later — and not the image that launched all this “drama we will all forget about in 22 hours” stuff on the right-leaning, young female side.

To summarize, some lady, believe by the name of Sarah, posted her engagement ring set against a field of flowers. (Instagram classic.) Some other conservative lady, whose name I do not know, asked “Why is it so small?” This started an entire Internet discourse about whether it matters how big the ring is (it shouldn’t, but it absolutely does to many women and many men too), and then Pearl (an all-timer “pick me” Internet woman) weighed in and said something nasty. The original girl, Sarah, said that maybe Pearl could get a ring if she “stopped getting run through by black guys” (!!!) and then Pearl at some point classified that her man was, in fact, Dominican. Some other insults were hurled about STDs and HPV and single motherhood. A lot of right-leaning guys weighed in not on the ring or the controversy, but more about the whole “How much should a ring cost? / How big should it be?” side.
