Michael Hawkins was a decorated cop in Aurora, Colorado. In fact, he was one of the major first responders at the Aurora movie shooting, also sometimes known as “The Dark Knight Mass Shooting” (because we need names to clarify them now). He even testified in James Holmes’ trial:
Well, later that year of the movie theater shooting, he allegedly begin abusing his step-daughter, who was his wife’s (Rachel Pickrel-Hawkins) daughter from another marriage. This all gets a little confusing, because Pickrel-Hawkins I believe has six children from various relationships, and Hawkins was eventually charged with sexual assault on all six of them, even though the ages range widely.
