One Goal In Life: Avoid Being A Father Like Bernard Rush Jr.
About six days before Christmas in 2023, a 33 year-old male named Bernard Rush Jr. pulled up to the Flamingo Inn in Sarasota, Florida. He was meeting a supposed prostitute to receive oral sex for the stunningly-low price of $10. Thing with Rush was, his four-year-old son was in the car, and he planned to leave him in the car while he went into the motel room, did the deed, paid, and left. Thing with Rush also? The prostitute was a cop. He got busted, including this probable cause affidavit, and was booked into the jail — but released on bond. While he was sitting in the cop car, they called the mother of the child, and she showed up with a co-worker (as apparently the mom didn’t have her own car), and things got emotional.
