Lindsay Shiver And The Particular Pathology Of “Wanting It All”
Robert Shiver is being referred to as a former Auburn “football star,” although in reality he was the deep snapper, and not even really during the best arc of Auburn football. His dad was apparently the CEO of Flower Foods (which I believe makes Wonder Bread) for over 40 years; Flower Foods is worth about $5B in-market. He moved back to good ol’ Thomasville, GA after his one year snapping for the Atlanta Falcons, and got married to former Alabama county beauty queen Lindsay (maiden name goes here, I believe it was “Shirly”). Robert started working in insurance, eventually becoming an EVP of some insurance company. Lindsay started popping out kids and splashing life all over Instagram. At some point, they ended up in a $2.77M home in Thomasville — 7 beds, 7 baths, baby! — and the relationship soured. If you look at the timing of the kids on Instagram, clearly they conceived a “savior baby” which maybe didn’t work, because she took a lover from the Bahamas (where, naturally, they had a vacation home).
