Karla Homolka is a crazy story about how much people can (or can’t) change
If you’re unfamiliar with the Karla Homolka story, she’s one of the “Ken and Barbie” killers associated with the rape and murder of three young women in Canada in the early 1990s. So, you’d assume she’s probably in prison still, right? Especially if you knew one of the women involved was her own sister, who she essentially killed because her boyfriend at the time wanted to deflower her? Nope. She got a plea deal, sending the dude away for life, but she only got 12 years. She was out by her 30s. She married her lawyer’s brother and had three kids. And get this shit — now she’s a suburban Montreal school mom, who periodically volunteers on trips involving young women:
