Here’s the Moscow case probable cause affidavit.

The biggest “new” things we learned were:

• Timeline (later than we thought)
• Dylan Mortensen (one of the surviving roommates) saw the killer and he essentially walked past her

Let’s break out the obvious here: he walked past her, presumably, around 4:25am. The 911 call wasn’t until about 11:50am. That’s over seven hours, close to eight.

What are the possibilities here?

We don’t know how we’d react when faced with this situation: This is the common reaction after the release of the affidavit. And it’s true. It’s the same thing as police shootings. We’re all keyboard warriors, but unless we’ve been cops, we have no idea how you’d react in a specific moment. See also:
