Idaho 4 Case: Nope, The WSU Termination Was Not Kohberger’s “Trigger”

People get fired every day, even graduate students.

Because there’s a big gap between now and June when something else happens in the Idaho 4 case, people are trying to fill said gap by claiming everything is “big news.” The newest thing is that Kohberger got fired from a WSU-Pullman TA job when he was a grad student. I’m surprised this news hadn’t come out already. We had some reports early on about his “tough grading” and the way he acted with peers and students. I figured he had already been asked not to return for second semester, but I guess there was an official progress, as perhaps best detailed here:

This itself is a non-story, although the supposed reason why the professor wanted him gone (“sexist attitude towards females”) might be a story. If I was ranking various possible connection points and pre-June stories, him getting fired as a TA wouldn’t rank high. Instead, I think it’s still something about Mad Greek Restaurant:
