For Men, Is It ALL About Virility?

I wonder this stuff at least twice a week.

A few days ago, I was minding my own business on my Facebook Marketplace couch when, all of the sudden, YouTube fed me this Chris Williamson video:

I am not, myself, a “soy boy,” although I do believe I am infertile, and thus I think about this stuff a lot.

In that video, they talk about a study whereby you take a man, right? Still with me? You then take 10 women. Two are ovulating, and eight are not. You literally just have the 10 women walk past the man, and said man will be attracted more to the two women ovulating than the other eight, even if the other eight are porn-star-looking supermodels. I actually think this is one of those studies:

That study purports that men are indeed more attracted to “fertile cycle” women, although because a woman changes her psychology and affect in-cycle, not necessarily a physical marker.

The woman in the video above, who I believe is named Louise Perry, says that some women like wearing high heels because it mimics the hip/flow motion of being in-cycle. I had never thought of that before, but it does make some sense.

Now let' me give you a completely different video, whereby a 23 year-old YouTuber goes to inner-city St. Louis in a bulletproof vest:
