Here is the basic deal, though.
- Denise Prudhomme was 60 years old.
- She clocked in to a Tempe (Arizona) Wells Fargo branch at 7am on a Friday.
- That specific branch allows for many remote workers, so people don’t go into the office a lot.
- Her office is also on the third floor, away from many other human beings.
- She apparently died on Friday and was slumped on her desk.
- The building apparently has 24/7 security, but no one noticed her on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or even Monday. Her body was discovered on Tuesday.
This is a fucked-up story, and there’s a tendency to make it about loneliness and work, which I will do in one second, thank you very much. But before that, we need to admit this is a massive failure of logistics at every level: the security detail for this building clearly didn’t…
