Chasing Fiji For A Few More Days
My wife and I are in Fiji and have been since — well, I guess Wednesday, which was Tuesday U.S. time. We’re here about 4–5 more days and then begin the long journey back. Been a good time so far, and the first time I’ve been on this side of the world. I also think I maybe got sunburned yesterday snorkeling. Is this where someone says “first-world problems?” I don’t know.
I’ve had a lot of halfway-decent ideas for articles since I’ve been out here, but I don’t really have the time or the desire to sit down and write a decently-linked Medium article on what’s inherently the first “vacation” (I’ve worked a bit) that I’ve taken in 2.5 years. So, I ain’t writing long-form. But … I’ve got some cool ideas from people I’ve met and discussions and experiences I’ve had, and I shall write about some stuff whenever those boats and planes and vans bring us back home.
In the meantime, be good. I think it’s Friday in the USA and most of the world right now, so close out the week strong and enjoy the weekend if you’re not working.
