Are Parents Increasingly Scared Of Their Own Children?

You can take some of the below with a grain of salt, because I’m not a parent, even though I’ve been chasing that narrative since about 2008:

I will now take you on a quick video tour. First up is Megyn Kelly (odd), who Trump once made a period joke at. Also odd. Here’s her talking to some seemingly right-wing psychologist about parenting and kids:

The consensus there is be a parent, not a friend. They talk about how parents are scared to tell children “no.” I think that’s a long-running issue and not anything amazingly new. It does feel like there’s more entitled fuck-wad kids in the last 15 years, but I’m sure people have said that in every 15-year period of American and global history.
