Another Courthouse Ambush By A Guy: Erica Riley In Kentucky
Last week in Elizabethtown, Kentucky — essentially an exurb of Louisville — a man named Christopher Elder ambushed his ex-girlfriend and her family in the family courthouse parking lot, which would reasonably be a “safe space” but unfortunately often isn’t, and managed to kill Erica (the ex-girlfriend) and her stepmom. Her father is still in the hospital, apparently. The kids (pictured above) were in the parking lot, but were not injured. Elder led the police on a 100-mile chase, negotiated with them for 90 minutes to surrender, and then killed himself. Some of it is detailed here:
