A Collective “OK, Trump Won, Now What?” Debrief

Most people understand the factors that got us here. It’s a question of what happens in the next half-decade now.

Alright, so basically here's the high-level of what happened: After January 6, 2021, it seemed Trump was left for dead politically. His backed candidates in 2022 did poorly. When he was doing media hits at Mar-A-Lago in 2022, his family wasn’t even showing up by his side. It seemed like all signs were headed for Ron DeSantis as the new bellwether of the right/far-right. A lot of things then happened, including (and this is one we ignore right now) DeSantis being a terrible retail politician who made voters feel the ick.

As the story goes, the main thing that happened were Trump indictments, which came to be seen as political (“Biden Witch Hunt”) and allowed him to fundraise. DeSantis flamed out. Haley hung around but ultimately flamed out. Everyone had to start to bow down to The Don. He was both the victim and the hero.

Then he seemed stronger, because Biden had a colossal fart in that debate. Then, he got shot at and pumped his fists. It seemed like it was over. But then Biden hit a swerve and it seemed tough again for Trump. Kamala had youth, energy, and womanhood. This would be a different fight.
